If you are looking for the perfect side dish for a holiday (or any regular day) these brown sugar honey glazed carrots are it. They are easy, only a handful of ingredients, delicious, and ready in no time.

- 8 Carrots (large carrots)
- 2 tbsp Honey
- 2 tbsp Brown Sugar
- 4 tbsp Butter (unsalted)
- 4 Garlic Cloves (minced)
- 1 tsp Ras el Hanout
- 1 tsp Thyme (optional to top the dish)
Instructions
- Cut the carrots: and set aside
- Meanwhile melt the butter: I like to brown the butter first. Once it is melted add the carrots and the minced garlic.
- Add the sugar and honey: along with the ras el hanout. The glaze is going to start to thicken and it is going to look like it is weird at points but it is fine and just go with it
- Sauté the carrots: for around 15-20 minutes in this glaze on a medium heat. The carrots will soften over the course of the cook time.
